The first stop for my Birthday ‘distraction’ vacation was the beautiful city of Rome!

After totally confusing our bodies by flying straight into a new day we both were excited and ready to explore!

I wish I could have bottled up the smell and feeling I had when we stepped around the corner from the subway station to see my first glance of The Spanish Steps!  So exciting!!
