rachel and phillip

I have known Rachel for as long as I can remember … we will just not discuss how long that actually is!  Let’s just say  it’s been most of her life!  =]

It has been such a sweet joy watching her throughout the years and when I got the call she was engaged I could not have been any happier to be her wedding photographer!

When their much anticipated day rolled around the skies were dark and grey, but no one seemed too worried…. it was going to be a perfect day regardless of what mother nature sent our way!

I met up with Rachel and her bridesmaids at the salon.  Rachel was probably the most calm-cool-collected bride that I had seen in a while! She was not phased by the hustle and bustle going on around her!

Yellow!!  Yes Please!!!

Don’t let this capture of the blue skies fool you ….. it rained harder than I have ever seen for a few hours before the wedding and as soon as it was time for the guests to arrive, the sun came out … it did not look or feel like the same day!

All our portraits before the wedding needed to be inside, but that’s okay!  It is a beautiful Church!

Lots of memories floating around when you are shooting in the same Church you were married in too!  =]

The Ceremony was beautiful too!

I always love how a Groom reacts to his wedding band immediately! =]

The reception was so cheerful and decorated beautifully!

Did I mention how much I love Yellow!?!  =]

Time for the new Mr. and Mrs. to head out for their honeymoon …..

But not before they made a u-turn and came back for a few more portraits in the now gorgeous weather.

Of course these were my absolute favorites of the day!

Congratulations Rachel and Phillip!

You guys rock and made my day so fun!  Thank you for Sharing it with me!
